Nicole is a driven advocate who thrives in fast-paced environments. She uses her analytical thinking to deliver practical, client-centered results.
Nicole’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on bankruptcy and insolvency, contractual disputes, and debtor/creditor relationships. Before joining SZK, Nicole articled at a tax law firm, where she assisted clients in tax disputes and developed practical advocacy skills through drafting and researching complex issues.
Nicole earned her JD/MBA from the Queen’s University Faculty of Law and the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. Her interest in litigation began in law school through participation in the Donald G.H. Bowman Tax Moot, where she learned to perform under pressure and translate complex issues into clear, persuasive arguments. In the MBA, she gained practical business experience and refined her client-centered approach.
As a former varsity athlete, Nicole brings discipline and a strong work ethic to every file. Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys biking, bouldering, and travelling.
